Stock Room Shipping Receiving Clerk

Port Angeles, WA - Full-Time

The Stockroom Shipping & Receiving Clerk’s primary purpose is to ensure that inventory coming into and leaving the warehouse matches the Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system for what was ordered & shipped in terms of quantity, cost and quality, and that shipments are processed to ship in a timely and accurate manner. The position is responsible for working with our vendors to resolve any of these discrepancies on a timely basis. The detailed inspection of product and documents is an important part of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Experience in all facets of shipping, including but not limited to, FedEx, UPS, DHL, LTL
  • Experience processing Domestic and International shipments
  • Hazmat experience helpful
  • Must be extremely detail oriented
  • Must be able to read, understand and interpret written instructions
  • Must have experience with and understanding of inventory transactions
  • Must have excellent customer service/vendor relations skills
  • Ability to ensure product is kept neat and in an orderly fashion per FIFO methods
  • Must participate with daily picking, packing and shipments for both factory issue, and shipment of products

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Warehouse/Stockroom experience preferred
  • Computer skills mandatory
  • Communication skills
  • Aerospace industry experience helpful
  • Strong work ethic
  • Highly responsive to internal and external customer requirements, with a strong attention to detail
  • Physical ability to work standing all day while moving about entire warehouse
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
